• support plain old unsecured, unencrypted HTTP.
  • This excludes most popular free webhosts (eg Neocities, Nekoweb). There are other options.
• contain stuff made by a human, at least partially in English, that is
  substantive.

  • Sites that consist solely of a résumé or list of ways to contact the owner are not eligible.
  • As a rule of thumb, blog-style sites should contain at least three entries. Unless one of them is like, a novel, or something.
  • Single-serving sites are generally eligible.
• be curl-able (without any flags).

Member sites must not:

• require JavaScript for basic functionality, including forcing the visitor to complete a JS-based CAPTCHA or PoW (eg Anubis, Cloudflare).
• discriminate against old user agents, which defeats the purpose.
  • This excludes many popular hosts that support HTTP (eg Bear Blog, InfinityFree).
• espouse fascism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of bigotry or right-wing ideology.
